Reyes Flete PE, is the Director of Fire Protection Engineering at SC Engineers PC, where he leads all fire protection design and consulting services. He brings over a decade of experience across government, transportation, aviation, and high-rise markets, performing complex fire analysis and delivering comprehensive Fire and Life Safety (FLS) solutions. His expertise includes the design and commissioning of sprinkler and standpipe systems, clean agent systems, fire modeling and analysis, smoke management systems, and integrated life safety systems.
Mr. Flete serves as Fire Protection Lead Designer, Project Manager, and Code Compliance Subject Matter Expert on many of SC Engineers’ projects. He is also a Nationally Certified Tunnel Inspector (NCTI), which combined with his extensive experience and technical expertise, positions him as a leading authority in the field, capable of addressing complex challenges and ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance in tunnel and transportation projects. He earned an M.S. in Construction Administration from Columbia University, a Graduate Certificate in Fire Protection from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and dual B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
