Description:

Project scope consisted of fit-out of the existing MNR rail yard located in the lower level of Grand Central Terminal that will be the new LIRR concourse. Construction included lead & asbestos abatement, structural flooring, CMU, lighting, construction of south sub-station facility, fit-out of shafts with new stairways, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment for north substation and US-3/ US-4 unit substations, terminal HVAC systems, SCADA upgrades, fire alarm system, construction and fit-out of Terminal Management Center (TMC), battery room and control rooms.
