George S. Asimenios is the PMCM Director – Rail & Transit at SC Engineers PC, bringing over 40 years of experience in major rail infrastructure and transit projects. He has held senior leadership roles with Amtrak and MTACD LIRR prior to joining SC Engineers; overseeing high-value programs such as the Connecticut River Bridge Replacement, East River Tunnels Rehabilitation, and the MTA Penn Station Access Project. George is highly experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases—from planning & design to construction & closeout—across the Northeast Corridor and other dense urban environments. Mr. Asimenos supports SC Engineers rail & transit business development efforts and support our construction projects with technical railroad planning & coordination.
Mr. Asimenios holds an M.E. in Civil Engineering and a B.S. in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography from The City College of New York
