Project Management Consultant Services For 37 Elevators And 21 Escalators Replacement at Various Stations
Under two design-build contracts (E-34054, E-34055, and E-30647), the
MTA is replacing 37 elevators and 21 escalators across 23 subway
stations in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Challenges include
coordinating simultaneous design-build construction in active transit
station environments, managing the installation and commissioning of
complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and communication systems,
and ensuring ADA compliance with minimal service disruption. As a
subconsultant, SC Engineers is providing Project Management
Consultant (PMC) services including project and construction
management, office engineering, commissioning oversight, and field
inspections across all contracts.
