Bridges & HighwaysWe deliver bridges, highways, and associated infrastructure that are safe, durable, and built for long-term performance. From design to construction inspections, we provide solutions that keep communities connected and infrastructure resilient.
Buildings & FacilitiesOur expertise spans the full lifecycle of buildings and facilities, from concept design to systems integration and operations. We deliver mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring functional, efficient, and maintainable spaces.
Rail & TransitFrom commuter rail to urban transit systems, we help keep people and goods moving safely and efficiently. Our services cover track, catenary, signaling, stations, and support infrastructure, combining operational insight with engineering excellence to deliver projects that meet today’s demands and tomorrow’s growth.
WaterWe provide engineering solutions for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, helping communities manage resources safely and sustainably. From treatment facilities to distribution networks and flood resilience projects, we combine practical solutions with long-term operational planning.
SC Engineers served as fire protection engineering subconsultant to EH Fire Suppression on the New York City Department of Design and Construction's Borough-Based Jails Brooklyn Facility
The project supports MTA NYCT’s efforts to modernize vertical transportation infrastructure by replacing 19 elevators across 11 stations and 6 escalators at 2 stations under two separate construction packages in Manhattan and Queens, NY.
This project replaces the existing movable bridge, built in 1910, over the Hackensack River with a high-level fixed-span tied-arch bridge, eliminating marine-related rail service interruptions.
The Project is a major infrastructure initiative that will improve rail capacity and resiliency between New Jersey and New York by constructing a two new rail tunnels under the Hudson River and rehabilitating the existing, storm-damaged North River Tunnels.
The project enhances electrical reliability and operational resilience at the Bronx-Whitestone and Verrazzano-Narrows Bridges by upgrading substations, replacing standby generators, and interconnecting power distribution systems.
The Project involves managing two design-bid-build construction
contracts: rehabilitation of four pump rooms (Contract E40857) and
rehabilitation of the Concourse Yard Substation, Circuit Breaker House
#551, and IND Zone #20 battery and control cable (Contract P36727).
The design-bid-build contract P36710 includes phased removal of
hazardous materials (asbestos, lead, mercury) and outdated equipment,
along with major electrical upgrades
The project is a long-term infrastructure initiative aimed at improving wireless connectivity, safety, and operational efficiency across the NYCT and Staten Island Railway (SIR) systems.
The contract supports the planning, design, and construction of approximately 9.8 miles of new light rail infrastructure with 15 stations as part of Austin Transit Partnership’s (ATP) voter-approved Project Connect initiative.
