Austin Light Rail
The contract supports the planning, design, and construction of
approximately 9.8 miles of new light rail infrastructure with 15 stations
as part of Austin Transit Partnership’s (ATP) voter-approved Project
Connect initiative. The scope includes end-to-end services across the
project lifecycle—covering program and project management, design and
construction oversight, technical advisory, FTA process support, program
controls, stakeholder engagement, and policy development. The system
will serve Downtown Austin as well as the North, South, and East areas
of the city. Services are delivered through annual work plans with
performance-based incentives. As a member of the Delivery Partner
team, SC Engineers is supporting the program with project management
and oversight services alongside other industry-leading firms.
